Janice has successfully completed the five year programme leading to a Bachelor Degree in Architecture & Civil Engineering at the University Malta in the Design stream in 2008. In 2006, she had the opportunity to study architecture and design for five months at the University of Kentucky College of Design, USA and actively participated in field trips, student workshops and exhibitions. Hence, this together with other trips to Europe has given her further insight in the field mostly due to experiencing contemporary architecture by world renowned architects, favourites being Rem Koolhaas, Daniel Libeskind, Herzog and De Meuron, Massimiliano Fuksas and Zaha Hadid.
Janice has joined MJMDA in June 2008. Working with a team of professionals focusing mainly on the design and finishing aspects of projects has given her the opportunity to apply and expand her knowledge further in numerous areas such as detailing, material application, lighting and product design, and modern construction techniques. Apart from architecture, her interests also include fashion, art and all that is related to present-day design. Favourite quote: ‘Good design will save the world'.
