In creating this school, the project team at MJMDA captured youthful energy, seamless process and design and the centrality of art, communication and expression.

A school’s architecture must foster a positive pedagogical environment. Stepping over the threshold, a young student is filled with exciting possibility.

That said, there is also uncertainty about what this world of learning will be like. Preconceived images of the learning experience are expected, but reality never goes quite as planned.

The learning institution is a guide along this journey of inspirational experiences. Within the architectural embrace of the school, learners interact with each other. Old hats who know the ropes will impart their knowledge of written and unwritten rules. And new students will both adapt as well as exert their own influence.

This is a space for creativity to burst free through interaction. This project has not only developed a learning institution; it has created a unique space that nurtures inspired potential and earnest expression.
